Hinoki Cutting Board
Product Overview
Crafted from natural wood
Made from carefully selected straight-grained Kiso hinoki wood aged over 200 years, this cutting board is characterized by its moderate hardness that provides an excellent cutting feel and minimizes damage to knife blades. Minor knife marks heal when dampened.
Cutting boards made from a single plank of Kiso hinoki typically use cross-grained wood. Although this cutting board is made from jointed materials, it is solely crafted from straight-grained wood, making it more resistant to warping and more durable compared to a single cross-grained board.
Thick and durable. Refinish for long-term use.
With a thickness of 3 cm, this cutting board is resistant to warping and cracking, ensuring long-term use. When significant scratches or warping occur, the manufacturer offers a resurfacing service. For more details, please refer to the enclosed instruction manual.
